Artificial Intelligence

Comprehensive healthcare solutions powered by AI, 3D modeling, and medical innovation

LiverAIz, Inc. actively incorporates artificial intelligence across all healthcare solutions to optimize workflow efficiency and enhance productivity.

We have implemented automated 3D-based volumetric measurement systems for evaluating living donor compatibility in liver transplantation. This solution has been successfully deployed across 10 hospitals, including Samsung Medical Center, resulting in significant operational streamlining. By providing faster and more accurate results compared to traditional manual measurements by specialists, we have improved the quality of life for healthcare professionals facing heavy workloads while simultaneously reducing patient waiting times in the diagnostic process.

This technology has been successfully extended to deceased donor transplantation procedures. By automatically calculating hepatic volumes for each anatomical segment from donor imaging, we facilitate the assessment of size compatibility for patients on the transplant waiting list. This systematic approach has significantly reduced the uncertainties inherent in deceased donor liver transplantation, enabling more rapid and informed surgical decision-making.

Artificial intelligence is also applied to post-transplant health management for liver transplant recipients. In collaboration with Samsung Medical Center, LiverAIz, Inc. has developed a solution that detects signs of chronic graft rejection through automated analysis of the CT scans. This system enables prompt intervention when needed. By identifying subtle changes that might be overlooked in manual assessment, this AI-enhanced monitoring approach contributes to improving patient safety and supporting the long-term health maintenance of liver transplant recipients.

We have consistently developed AI models to support optimal treatment selection for hepatocellular carcinoma patients. Our AI system analyzes the degree of cirrhosis from liver MRI scans, assisting surgeons in determining safe resection margins when planning hepatectomy. Additionally, we have developed an AI model that predicts the success rate of transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) for liver cancer patients. By providing predictive insights into treatment efficacy, these tools help facilitate informed decision-making in selecting optimal therapeutic approaches.

We have implemented AI technology in our augmented reality solutions to enable automatic and precise registration of patient-specific 3D models. This integration enhances the practical utility of augmented reality solutions in surgical procedures, making them more accessible for intraoperative use.

LiverAIz, Inc. has consistently worked to apply our AI development capabilities across the healthcare industry, and we remain committed to further advancing these technologies for comprehensive healthcare applications.
