In collaboration with the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Samsung Medical Center, LiverAIz, Inc. has developed a 3D printed vascular phantom solution for intraoperative navigation in breast reconstruction procedures. Our technology enables three-dimensional reconstruction and visualization of critical vascular structures that are typically difficult to discern in conventional CT imaging, facilitating the preservation of microvasculature during surgery.
Given that microsurgical anastomosis of vessels approximately 1mm in diameter is required under microscopic guidance, preventing vascular injury is crucial for patient safety. To address this challenge, we have implemented a navigation system that provides surgeons with the most precise and accessible method for mapping these vascular pathways.
